Went to see He's just not that into you and I figured out 3 things:
1. I am allergic to Jennifer Aniston.
2. Scarlett is playing the same character she played in Vicky Cristina Barcelona
3. I will never get those 12 dollars back. Never.
This movie made women look like neurotic freaks that have the intelligence level of a donkey. The sad part is that in the movie theater my friend and I spotted a lot of women that were relating to this mess. They really "understood" the message of the movie. I think these girls have problems and they watch movies like these so they can reassure themselves that in the end it will all be a happy ending and some man is going to come along and love you even if you are crazy.

i disagree, the message in the movie is to believe in your worth as a woman and as human, and not to accept the bs that men bring into relationships. the point is that there are women who make excuses for men's bs. they make up excuses about why he doesnt call and they make excuses when he doesnt want to marry them and hide there true feelings about what they want, etc. but in reality, men are very capable of maintaining healthy relationships when they want to (ie calling when they say they will and keeping long term relationships) when men have genuinely decided that they are interested in the woman, instead of the woman chasing the man. and yes you can argue all you want about this being a new generation and time. but it still comes down to letting the man decide for himself if he wants to be with you and without throwing yourself at him. which was demonstrated literally in ginnifer goodwin's character.
the characteristics of the women in the movie were fictiously more intense than that of the average women. and however neatly and cute the end was wrapped up, i took away from the movie that i am the exception for my forever man, not the rule. but im a hopeless romantic.
