Maggie Gyllenhaal at The Dark Knight Premiere

I am absolutely loving this cute dress on Maggie. The colorful flower splashes are great! You just don't see fun dresses like this all the time. This could even be a great Mini dress. This is really a step up for Maggie who has a history of being really unpredictable. Sometimes she picks really random and not flattering outfits which only make it obvious that she does not have someone editing her choices. This seems very well put together and classy. I hope we see more of her like this.

Joey Lawrence looks a little gay

I know, I know. He is married and has a child and everything, but this outfit is just a little too tight for a straight guy to prance around in. I'm sure all the gays where looking trying to decide if he switched teams or wanted some undercover action. Arlenis the new face of Lancome?

I don't think anything has been confirmed yet, but if this is true I'm going to fall from my chair. I'ts being said all over the internet that Arlenis is going to be the new face of Lancome cosmetics and really its just amazing if she is because she has only been working for about 4 months. If it wasn't obvious before, I am officially on team Arlenis!

What the fuck was Miss Dominican Rep. thinking?

Last night Miss Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe 2008 and she deserved it. BUT I think the main reason why she won was that Miss Dominican Republic fucked up on the evening wear section. She was the prettiest one and then here she comes with some ugly ass dress that looks like someone broke a mirror on her. Not cute! She should have taken one of those mirrors on her dress to see herself and realize how horrible she looked.

Miss Universe 2008 is from Venezuela

The new Miss Universe is from Venezuela! She is youthful and energetic, very pretty, and at only 22 years of age has already survived being kidnapped in her country. She is a survivor. Congratulations to her and hopefully she will use her year of reign to help people in need.

This is what Victoria Beckham looks like at the airport people. FABULOUS. I always thought it was kinda tacky to get dressed up to go to the airport, my parents are this kind of people. in her defense, I'm sure she new the paps where going to be around so she made sure she looked HOT.

You need to listen to Sam Sparro!

This guy is like a mash up of Tiga, Jamiroquai. he has great dance music combined with soul. Sam is from Australia and I heard of his song "Black & Gold" a couple of weeks ago. I can't get that shit out of my head. The video is kinda cool too. Check him out! He also did some live covers of Estelle "American boy" and sang "stop me" with Mark Ronson in concert. Keep your eyes on this one. Oh, and make sure you get "21st Century Life" and "sick" because they fucking rock!

I want this girl to go away! I don't understand how someone as corny as this little girl can get so famous. First of all she looks like a duck. Her mouth is freaking ugly. Sean Hayes is Bi-coastal

I miss Jack from Will and Grace. That Mofo was hilarious. Soon Sean Hayes will play a brand new character on TV in a show called Bi-coastal. in the show he has a wife and child living in california and a boyfriend in NYC. Damn. Sounds like a hot mess. I can't wait.

It's all about Nespresso

This was one of my Bday presents. I have a feeling I'm going to be obsessed with this. Already I have been looking at all the different types of espresso that I could order online. The machine is cute and a freaking 5 year old can use it. Perfect! I'm going to try really hard to contain it to one espresso a day. I don't want to look like a crack head when I leave my house. LOL.

It will be a WICKED Friday

Cristina is so so cute and bought us tix to see Wicked on Friday night. I read the book, but people have been telling me that the play is just on another level. This should be a lot of fun. My mom is also jealous as hell because I bought her the book in Spanish and after I told her I was going to go see the play she wished she was going too.

25th Birthday Extravaganza!!!

Everything came to be a success on my 25th birthday. I had the best people around me, had the best food at August Restaurant, and listened to some hot ass music at Shag. I really could not have asked for anything more. From the pics you can see we know how to party. Oh, and thanks so much for all the presents. I don't think I have ever gotten so many in my entire life! LOVE IT! There was only one person missing, but hopefully my next birthday will be just us.

When is Amy Whinehouse going away?

I just can't stand this trash anymore. Yeah the music is great and everything, but if I have to look at Amy's face one more time I'm going to throw up on myself. I think I'm going to stick to my new soul songstress Adele. She is much more classy and the music is just as good.

4th of July Fun

Red Hook is the new hot spot. Duh! I was there this year for a BBQ and to see the fireworks on the Red Hook Pier. Very pretty, specially with Olafur's waterfall right next to everything. I think Cristina's limonsillo is just amazing, I can't get enough of this drink and Dacil made an awesome Burger, working the BBQ grill with heels and all. WORK!

Katy Perry kissed a girl

I am officially proclaiming this the song of the Summer. New York Magazine has an article on their site running with some contenders, but it's bullshit. Katy Perry has done some major ass kicking on the charts and even beat out Rihanna, Lil Wayne, and Leona for the number 1 spot with "I kissed a girl". That's what I call a break through and the song is fun. Totally the song of the Summer.

Hype for The Dark Knight

I am getting more and more hype as we get closer to July 18th. The Dark Knight is going to be amazing. Not only have critics seen the movie and said that Ledger as the Joker is probably the years best performance so far, but publicity for the movie is on point. Here is a new poster I found.

Primitivo Osteria for Brunch!

This is a very under rated spot in my opinion. There are a million brunch places all over NYC and some claim to be amazing food with great drinks. LIES! They are shitty, they rush you, they give you one drink (that is not fucking strong enough to deal with your day), and the place itself looks like shit. Then comes Primitivo, with it's friendly staff, unlimited mimosas, and delicious menu. I don't know how this place has remained relatively on the down low, but I am going to do everything I can to blow it up. This place is amazing. Look, I had 8 mimosas last Saturday while I was there with Craig and any place that does that is a definite must on my list.

I am loving all the color with the new Gucci Spring 2009 for men. Let's see how I can get my hands on something...Even if it's just going to the Gucci store, trying shit on, and taking pictures. Ha ha

Happy Birthday Lindsay

Lindsay is 22 today! I think she's looking better than ever. Fresh, relaxed, and working on a film. This is a good birthday for Lindsay. Let's hope this all pays off in a great comeback.

Speaking of Gay...Lindsay is proud too

At first I thought this was just a rumor, but as the days go by I am more and more convinced that this shit is true. Look how cute and happy they look holding hands. Normal girlfriends do not hold hands so much. If this is true then it is obviously helping wild child Lindsay keep it together. On a side note I just found out that Lohan's song "Bossy" was never meant to be a single. Its a "promotional" song. The real single is called Playground and it was produced by Pharrell Williams. So unfortunately there will be no Video for Bossy. Lindsay Lohan's CD comes out in September.

Gay Pride NYC 2008

I was out strong at the parade and luckily I bumped into 2 amazing Dominican ladies who had a Dominican flag. I asked them where I could find one, but when they found out I was going to be in the parade the just handed it over so i could represent! It was so cool to wave that flag around. The Google double decker bus was great and even though it poured while we were on it (hence the look of emptiness in some of the shots). I stayed my place and danced the whole time. I was wet, hyper, and loving every second of it. Jeanne, Craig, Susan, and I tore it up! if I ever do the parade again it will have to be on a float. It's so much more fun that way.

Wall-E was too good for words

I was so charmed by Wall-E. The film is mainly silent, but the cute little robot keeps your full attention the entire time. I felt like a kid again. I also did not realize to what extent the movie was really about romance. It's a robot love story and not only am I in love with Wall-E, but I'm in love with pixar for coming thru with such amazing work! There is some oscar buzz surrounding the movie. We'll have to see what happens, but if it is nominated for best picture it will be historic. The only other animated movie to have that honor was Beauty and the Beast. 

Florent's last day

Gay pride is bittersweet this year. Florent is going to be closing at the end of the festivities. I have a lot of great memories of that place. Hopefully it will re-open at some point. I was walking around the area with Betty after we had lunch there on Thursday and we were seeing all these new cute restaurants we want to go to...but I'm sure none are 24 hours like florent. A sad day indeed. 

Shake Shack's purple cow

I know it's a pain in the ass to stand in line for the shake shack, but have you tried the purple cow float? It's grape soda with vanilla custard. It's heaven in a cup is what it is. I would have it everyday if I could. My new plan is to go sometime this week and get another one because it will be raining a lot and the lines will probably be short...I need round 2!

Forget the iphone, I want this one...

I think I'm having a backlash to wanting the iphone for so long now. I just woke up today and I don't want it. I dont want to deal with a 2 year AT&T contract and I don't want to pay 100$ every month for phone service. So i found this cute little phone that's coming out by Sony Ericsson. Hayden on the set of Heroes season 3

Here is a pic of Hayden on set of Heroes season 3. I know last season sucked ass, but I am going to forgive them and tune into season 3. They had a lot going on with the writers strike and every series has a season 2 slump. This pic gives me hope that everything will come back in a big way.
