How about we go dance at the Brooklyn museum?

I am so fucking excited right now.
The Brooklyn museum has it's first Saturday party this weekend (4/5/2008) and guess what the theme is...JAPANIMATION! This is a geeks daydream, so I will take full advantage and be there front and center.

DJ Muro will be there spinning so we can get a sense of what's hot in Japan right now, but the best thing is you don't have to go to dance. There are many other events going on at the museum simultaneously. They will be showing the anime classic Kiki's delivery service (from Miyazaki, hes the guy that made Spirited away and Howl's moving castle). Also on display this week is work by famous and amazing artist Murakami.

Basically there's a whole bunch of shit going on and the hardest thing about this will be choosing what the fuck to do. I'm as giddy as a Japanese school girl who is about to buy some hello kitty shit!
