Everyone goes to Springfield

Have you noticed how much I love animation? I wish I could draw, really, but I can't, so I truly appreciate the art form. My latest find is superstar Dean Fraser. He has an awesome blog where he re-creates all types of celebrities and pop culture characters into their very own Springfield version. Yup, the same Springfield as the fabulous Simpson's! I got a real kick out of these, specially the Marvel section.

Happy Holidays!

Merry Xmas everyone!

I am in D.C with my boo and I am having such a surreal time. This time last year I was all alone in NYC, my parents had moved back to the Dominican Republic, and everyone seemed to be busy. It was a very sad holiday season for me, but also a wake up call. I needed to remember that being with the ones you love (and not only around the holidays) is the most important thing. This year I have been blessed with the best Xmas Karma EVER! I hope everyone reading this is enjoying time with friends or family. If not, make sure you call them and thank them for being in your life.

Thank you for coming on the blog and allowing me to share a part of myself with you. It means a lot to me.

:-)

Now go eat stuff all day until you cant stay awake anymore! lol

New Iron Man 2 Posters and trailer

Here is a look at the new Iron Man poster for the sequel coming out in May 2010. Comic book geeks everywhere rejoice at the fact that War Machine is in the poster as well. Stay tuned...

**UPDATE 12/11/2009

Another poster has emerged and this time the spotlight is on WHIPLASH! Looks pretty seedy and "villain-esque", lol. I love it!

Update 12.17.2009

The new Iron Man 2 trailer is up and my mouth was open the entire time. IT'S SO AWESOME! Go check it out here...

Spider-man 4 rumors are in

Rumor has it that Rachel McAdams is up for the role of The Black Cat in Spider-man 4. I really like Rachel and I love the black cat, so for me it's all good news. Hope it actually happens. BTW in the comics the black cat becomes Spider-man's lover for a brief period. hmm. What do you think? Should someone else get the role?

The dark Phoenix is a badass bitch!

I am revisiting the classic "Dark Phoenix Saga" written by Chris Claremont. I almost missed my train stop this morning because I was so into it. This is a book every comic book lover should read. It is one of the most interesting story lines in comic book history.

Thank you Manny!

Get away from my Marvel, Disney!

I leave for one week and the world goes crazy. I am NOT happy about Disney buying Marvel at all. I will let this cartoon speak for itself...

Adam Kubert does The New Mutants

I am loving this cover of The New Mutants #3 done by Adam Kubert. Don't know if I'll pick it up to read, but I want to keep my eye on him and what he's drawing these days. Moonstar looks like she will kill you and your whole family here. LOVE IT!
